Cardiff University is offering postgraduate taught scholarships
for entry 2014/15. Scholarships are available for UK and EU applicants
to pursue a full-time master programme across any of the subject areas.
The Scholarships are each worth £3,000 and will be awarded in the form
of a tuition fee discount. In addition, to be considered for a
scholarship, applicants must have received and accepted an unconditional
offer to study a full-time postgraduate taught programme leading to a
master’s degree at Cardiff University for the 2014/15 academic year. The
application deadline is 1st August, 2014.
About Scholarship: Cardiff University is pleased to announce that the Postgraduate Taught Scholarship Scheme for entry 2014/15 has been confirmed. Cardiff University has committed to invest a total of £500,000 in this high value competitive scholarship scheme to support Home and EU students who are planning to start a full-time master programme across any of the subject areas we offer in September 2014. Eligibility: ‘Home’ and ‘EU’ students only (as classified for fee paying purposes, tuition fee status is determined after submitting an application to study) who are accepted on to a full-time postgraduate taught programme leading to a master’s degree and with a firm focus on academic excellence.
Scholarship Open for: UK and EU students can apply for these postgraduate taught scholarships.
Duration: The Postgraduate Taught Scholarships are available for a maximum of one academic year. Students studying a course which lasts longer than one year will not receive any further funding for additional years.
Value: The Scholarships are each worth £3,000 and will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount. Students who are successful in gaining a scholarship will have this amount deducted from their tuition fees.
Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence.
Apply: The Postgraduate Taught Scholarship application form will be made available on the SIMS Online Applicant Portal to all Home and EU students who have applied to a full-time postgraduate taught programme leading to a masters’ degree. The application form will remain on the Online Applicant Portal until the scholarship application deadline of Friday 1st August 2014, 17.00 (GMT). Only one application form will be accepted for the Postgraduate Taught Scholarships per student.
