2014 Graduate Teaching Assistantships in Management at University of Leicester in UK

The School of Management of University of Leicester is offering five funded graduate teaching assistantships for October 2014 entry. These teaching assistantships are payable as a full UK/EU tuition fee waiver for four years subject to annual progress review. The successful applicants will also receive an annual stipend and salary (worth £13,726 each year) as well as an annual Training Grant (worth £750 each year) to support appropriate research and development expenses. Application should be submitted till 6th March 2014.
About Scholarship: The School of Management is pleased to offer five funded Graduate Teaching Assistantships for October 2014 entry to its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. These Graduate Teaching Assistantships are available for full-time registration and are payable as a full UK/EU tuition fee waiver for four years subject to annual progress review. The successful applicants will also receive an annual stipend and salary (worth £13,726 each year) as well as an annual Training Grant (worth £750 each year) to support appropriate research and development expenses.
Study: Assistantships are awarded in any area of management within in the School of Management at University of Leicester. Course Level: Graduate Teaching Assistantships allow research students to fund their PhD through part-time teaching work with the University. Eligibility: First class or upper second class undergraduate degree or an equivalent overseas qualification in a relevant subject*
-It is expected that applicants will also hold a Masters degree in a relevant subject*
-Standard English language requirements
-Available to suitable UK/EU and International (i.e., outside the EU) applicants – please note though that the awards cover tuition fees at the UK/EU rate only; international applicants (and those not eligible to pay UK/EU tuition fees) must demonstrate at the time of their application that they can fund the difference in tuition fee rates
-Available for full-time registration only
-Applicants must be able to start in October 2014
-or show evidence of achieving this by October 2014

-Draft a personal statement (up to 750 words).
