World Business Dialogue

You are enthusiastic about participating in the 16th World Business Dialogue?

You are interested in exchanging ideas and meeting people from all over the world at the largest student-run business convention in the world?

With the Dialogue Scholarship we cover your travel expenses and therefore financially support your journey to Germany.

The Dialogue Scholarship covers your travelling expenses from a major airport/train station to Cologne, Düsseldorf or Frankfurt.

In order to qualify for a Dialogue Scholarship we want you to interpret the 16th World Business Dialogue’s topic in a creative way. Write an essay, a poem or a song. Make a video, draw a picture or take photos.

Please send an e-mail to scholarship@ofw.de and attach your application. Make sure you mention the username you used for the application procedure.

Be creative and get your ticket to Cologne for free. However, do not forget that your videos, essay etc. are subject to the following restrictions. If the restrictions are not incorporated the application for a Dialogue Scholarship becomes invalid.

Restrictions

Feel free to choose the format of you submission. Please take care of complying with the following limitations.

-Videos/Sound recordings; any type of presentation: Max. 5 minutes

-Essays, any type of written document: Max. 500 words; stating the exact word count

• Accepted formats: doc, pdf, docx, ppt, pps, pptx, ppsx, dvd, avi, mpeg, mov
• All sources must be quoted
• Plagiarism will result in disqualification
• Only individual works are allowed
• The work must be exclusively written for the 16th World Business Dialogue Scholarship

We kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot consider any application, which doesn’t meet the mentioned criteria.

Consider External Sponsorships!

For students that have not been granted a Dialogue Scholarship by the OFW, we would like to encourage you that there exist other possibilities to gain funds.

Look for your own sponsors by means of university faculties, companies, student foundations, etc.

Upon acceptance to the 16th World Business Dialogue, every participating student will receive a confirmation letter that verifies his/her participation, which can then be used as proof alongside your official invitation to contact your potential sponsors.

It might also be useful to take note that if you are a scholarship holder of a foundation, you may have the option to request financial aid to attend the 16th World Business Dialogue. Furthermore, many faculties appoint a budget for exceptional Students to attend events like the World Business Dialogue.
