Graphics Intern Virtual Reality Medical Institute

The Virtual Reality Medical Institute (VRMI), a Brussels-based SME, offers a trainee opportunity for students in the final stages of a graduate or undergraduate degree program.  These internships are for a minimum of six months and can be extended once, in which case there may be an opportunity to assist with different duties in the corporation.  VRMI uses advanced technologies such as virtual reality and telehealth to improve the quality and availability of healthcare for people around the globe. It is closely affiliated with the Interactive Media Institute as well as the Virtual Reality Medical Center, both based in the U.S. and serves as the general secretariat for the International Association of CyberPsychology, Training, & Rehabilitation (iACToR) which is based in Brussels.
VRMI is working to further the application of advanced technologies for training, education, and patient care. The Institute sponsors national and international specialty NATO workshops, healthcare conferences, and continuing education courses for healthcare providers.  We publish quarterly scientific journals and magazines distributed to policymakers, funding agencies, industry leaders, and the research community to inform and educate on technology and healthcare. We also publish electronic newsletters and specialty books for the scientific community and general public. As well, we conduct research and clinical trials.
