Join the high profile Marketing team for Germany and be part of VMware’s biggest 2013 events in Germany. You will be supporting the planning, execution and follow-up of VMware’s attendance at CeBit at the VMForum Conference series. Cebit is the largest 3rd party conference world-wide for VMware.
The VMForum is our VMware hosted customer event, where we invite our top customers to learn about the new solutions and offerings. The event is co-sponsored by our largest partners, and targeted to the sales and technical customer audience.
With coaching and guidance you will manage discrete elements of these major events and be in regular communication with the virtual team that will help deliver Cebit and VMForums. As such you’ll collaborate with local and EMEA-wide resources to help deliver these 2 events and make them the most successful ever for VMware.
Performance Objectives
1. Successful planning support and execution support of the VMware Cebit presence
2. Successful planning support and execution support of the Germany VMForum – Achieve attendee target
3. Support the delivery of post-event analysis, leading practices, and learnings
4. Help manage virtual team of external agencies, sales, technical sales and consulting, PR, partners
5. Help track the budget for both events end-to-end and help keep the events on-budget
Competencies
1. Project management
2. Cross-team collaboration
3. Marketing: event management, demand generation, online and social media, ROMI
4. Strong English and German communication skills: verbal and written
5. Dynamic, energetic, driven
6. Ability to execute on-time and within budget
