This is a Postgraduate Research Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from International (Non-UK/ EU) Students to apply for the same. Only 10 such awards are being offered and the deadline for application is 30-Jan-15.
This Scholarship will offer you will cover international fees and provide a stipend which will match that provided for UK doctoral students by the UK Research Council for 1 Year in the first instance, renewable annually for a Maximum of 3.5 years for Full Time Doctoral Students.

Eligibility:	Applicants must apply for a Phd in one of the Science Schools of study at the Univeristy of Sussex:- You must be classified as an international fee paying student to apply. Applicants must commence their PhD academic studies in the United Kingdom in September 2015. Science and engineering – applicants will be expected to hold, by September 2015, the UK equivalent of a first class honours degree and preferably a relevant postgraduate qualification, which will normally be a masters degree.
