The Dean’s Scholarships for Academic and Clinical Excellence for Study in City University London, United Kingdom

f you would like to study in City University London, United Kingdom and pursue Full Time/ Part Time Postgraduate Program in MSc Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care Courses you can avail The Dean’s Scholarships for Academic and Clinical Excellence which is being offered by The School of Health Sciences.
This is a Postgraduate Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from UK, EU and International Student to apply for the same. Only Few such award is being offered and the deadline for application is January is 5pm on the 19-December-2014 and September is 5pm on the 28-August-2015.

Eligibility:
  1. Be a self-funded student and not in receipt of any other scholarships;
  2. Be a full or Part Time Student;
  3. Be in your first year of postgraduate study for the October or January intake on any one of the routes of the MSc Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care course;
  4. Demonstrate academic and clinical excellence and a commitment to advancing your clinical and academic skills.
Important Information: A selection panel will shortlist candidates on merit and the top candidates will be awarded the scholarships. The amount of £2,500 will be deducted from the January 2015 or September 2015 tuition fee instalment of a full-time student. For part-time students, an amount of £1,250 will be deducted from the January 2015 or September 2015 and January 2016 or September 2016 tuition fee instalments.

You need to apply by writing a statement (of up to 800 words in length) explaining why you believe you should be awarded the scholarship, why you want to do the course and how you will use it to shape your future career. Please include a word count. You can upload the statement as a supplementary document in your online application, or email it to our Programme Administration team at healthprofessionals@city.ac.uk if you have already applied. Please state your full name and student number if this is known, together with the full name of the course for which you have registered.
Once all the information has been received by The School of Health Sciences and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
