| Eligibility: | Full awards are available to applicants with established UK residency and fees-only awards are available for EU applicants without UK residency. Awards may also be available to International applicants to the Economics pathway. If you wish to apply for an ESRC studentship with the SGSSS-DTC you must comply with residential and academic eligibility requirements. A summary of eligibility criteria is available here. SGSSS-DTC is happy to receive applications from full-time PhD students in their first year of study, or part-time Phd students in their second year. However if you will have completed more than one full year’s study or equivalent by October 2015, we regard you as having completed a substantial proportion of a PhD and you are therefore no longer eligible to apply for funding through us. Please note that these criteria are set by ESRC and SGSSS is not able to consider candidates who do not meet the criteria. |
