Internship at Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA)

Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA) is offering unpaid internships designed for young professionals with the interest in security policy and international relations. During the internship interns will be involved in variety of Slovak as well as international projects. As members of CENAA team they will be enabled to participate in our events and will become a part of the Slovak security community.
The successful candidates for the internship should:
  • be students or graduates of the International Relations, European Studies, Political Science or Journalism with the interest in foreign and security policy;
  • have a good command of English, other languages are at an advantage;
  • have a good communication and presentation skills.
Available positions:
  1. Project Assistant for South Caucasus– intern will assist with the preparation of a series of events in South Caucasus (conference, round tables, study trips to Slovakia) and publication, assist with logistics and communication with partners and participants of the project, administration of the project.
  2. Project Assistant for CENAA´s publications – intern will be involved in preparation of the Panorama of Global Security Environment, Policy Papers and the Transatlantic Files. He/she will communicate with the contributors and assist with the distribution, presentation and administration of the projects.
  3. Project Assistant for the Education program – intern will assist during the preparation of a range of Slovak as well as international educational projects and events.
  4. Assistant for Media – intern will administer medial outputs, social networks and website, he/ she will assist with the communication with medial partners.
  5. Office Assistant – continuous involvement in all CENAA programs and activities.
