Intern - EU Funding Monitoring/Public Funding Development

To support its Berlin-based team, LNE Group is looking for an Intern - EU Funding Monitoring/Public Funding development.
LNE Group is an experienced Government Advocacy and Government Funding firm. We support companies across Europe and the United States in securing Public Funding for R&D and investment projects.

Our services span from advocating for our clients’ R&D agenda, identifying government incentives that match their goals, drafting and submitting grant proposals on their behalf and handling the grant-related administration throughout the project’s lifetime.

Our clients include large manufacturing companies that offer innovative solutions in the field of renewable energy, nanotechnology or specialty chemicals.

Your tasks:

Support LNE Group’s EU Funding Practice in its daily activities, including:
  • Monitoring the latest developments on EU Funding programmes, including the publication of calls for proposals, preparation of future funding programmes and relevant policy developments;
  • Supporting the drafting of advocacy papers with specific research tasks;
  • Developing marketing materials, such as presentations and brochures;
  • Contacting potential new clients by phone and arranging meetings with them; planning and scheduling business trips for our consultants;
  • Conducting research tasks on innovative technologies to prepare the submission of grant applications and other deliverables for clients;
  • Contacting leading universities and research institutes to support the setup of successful consortia for research projects;
  • Conducting routine tasks, such as updating our funding database or preparing our newsletter.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in European Studies, Public Policy, Law, Business Management or similar;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
  • Fluency in Polish or another Central/Eastern European language such as Czech, Slovak or Hungarian is a plus;
  • Good communication skills;
  • A “hands on” attitude coupled with a creative mindset.
