UQ Merit Scholarships for Undergraduate Students in Australia, 2014

University of Queensland offers merit scholarships for Year 12 and gap year students to commence study in the Bachelor of Agribusiness, the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or the Bachelor of Science. In 2014 the University will be awarding up to ten scholarships, valued at $6000 for the first year of study. Students who expect to achieve an OP8 or better are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is 31 October 2013.

Scholarship Description: In 2014 the University will be awarding up to ten UQ Merit Scholarships, valued at $6000 for the first year of study, for Year 12 school leavers and gap year students who are keen to pursue studies and a career in agriculture or related discipline. Awarded to year 12 and gap year students intending to commence study in the Bachelor of Agribusiness, the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or the Bachelor of Science (majoring in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience or Soil and Plant Bioscience).

Duration of award(s): Scholarships are offered for one year.
