Administration at The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai for smooth
operation of the engineering department by accurate records, and logging
of expenses and spare parts. Intern will Keep track of all maintenance
work order in Transcendent & Guestware system. Students should have
High School Diploma or equivalent.

The hotel will open with 804 bedrooms and rise to 1608 rooms the hotel will include 9 restaurants and 5 lounges offering a wide variety of culinary delights for our guests. JW Marriott is the luxury hotel brand that provides an environment of simple elegance where they feel welcome and free to be themselves. Essential Functions of intern are as follows:
-Keep track of all maintenance work order in Transcendent & Guestware system.
-Record all work orders coming into the department and log and distribute completed to the departments involved.
-Prepare duty rota, attendance sheets, month end reports and other reports as required.
-Ensure that all correspondence, memos etc. leaving the office are correct and are clear to understand.
-Maintain all files and trace system in the engineering office in a neat and orderly manner.
-Keep a track of all current events and trace important files.
-Make sure that all goods received are filed in an orderly manner.
-Make sure that all correspondences and memo’s coming in and going out of the engineering office are treated as confidential.
-Carry out any request asked of you by the Asst. Director of Engineering or Director of Engineering.
-To ensure that you maintain a high level of hospitality and guest concern. Practice at all times “Empowerment” and do whatever it takes to satisfy the guest.
-Accident prevention and safety to be aware of all existing departmental job safety analysis and to strive to work in an accident free manner and to create a safe working environment for himself and for others.
-To take active roll in the TQM process.
-Your uniform should be clean at all times if you have to go to guest areas. Your uniform should be changed on a daily basis.
-Hygiene is of upmost importance, please make sure that you wash before coming to work and you practice good hygiene throughout your daily routine.
