October 3, 2011 - the World Day of Architecture. Traditionally Architects offices open their doors to anybody who want come and have a look. However, t...his year we decided to celebrate it differently: take camera, go out, enjoy the architecture and open another doors- that of new virtual activity called VITRUVING.

Perhaps this project will attract worldwide enthusiam, become movement and soon ...not just architects but also children, students, their grandparents, artists, business people will do Vitruving. For Vitruving You just need - at least two people (there are four legs and four arms in the original drawing, so it might be more comfortable that two people make the photo), some interesting object and camera.

Although according to da Vinci the measurements of man are in nature distributed in certain manner, proportion may be also a game and You are welcome to participate in it. Upload your own Vitruving pictures taken at Eiffel Tower, local library or any interesting building!

VITRUVING will start in Riga, Latvia on Monday, October 3 at 8 AM GMT!
