Free webinar on data visualization for journalists

Journalists from around the world can attend this online seminar.
Medialab-Prado, a program of the Department of Arts of the City Council of Madrid, is organizing a free conference on data visualization that will be webcast live.
The session will begin with two 30-minute-lectures by Xaquín G.V. (The New York Times), and Annamarie Cumiskey (Bureau of Investigative Journalism). The event will continue with brief presentations by Mar Cabra of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists - ICIJ, and David Cabo of Pro Bono Público. Finally, the audience will be able to participate in a round table discussion.
A workgroup on data journalism will also be launched during the event, seeking to bring together professionals interested in the subject, from journalists to graphic designers, who will meet regularly at Medialab-Prado.
The activity will take place at Medialab-Prado, Plaza de las Letras C / Alameda, 15, Madrid, Spain, on October 20 at 5 p.m. The event is free. The conference will be conducted in Spanish and English and will be translated live.
