Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be
eligible to apply for this scholarship:-
Applicants of UK/EU and International status can apply.
The holder of the studentship may have the opportunity to
undertake a small amount of teaching within the School. Payment for this will
be at a standard hourly rate in addition to the annual studentship.
Applicants should have a good Honours degree (first-class
or upper-second-class Honours) in an area related to the proposed field of
study. It would be an advantage if applicants also had, or expected to
receive by autumn 2016, a Master’s-level qualification at ‘credit’ or
‘distinction’ level in a relevant subject area.

application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the following

Applicants should submit a full and detailed CV, an outline
research proposal of around 1,000 – 2,000 words, and a personal statement of
around 500 words setting out their reasons for applying.
Applicants also need to submit their degree transcripts and
certificates.
Applicants are encouraged to approach a member of staff
relevant to their research area in the first instance, to discuss their
interests, and with a view to working-up their outline proposal.
Once all the information has been received by the Newcastle
University Business School and the assessment of the submitted documents is
complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
