At the Virtual
Reality Medical Institute, we are looking for a web editor intern to join
our team. Our institute is a non-profit association, which informs and educates
the scientific community as well as policymakers, funding agents and the
general public on the uses of advanced technologies such as virtual
reality and telehealth to improve the quality and availability
of healthcare for people around the globe. IMI organizes and sponsors
national and international workshops, conferences, and continuing
education courses. We also publish a magazine (Cybertherapy &
Rehabilitation) as well as speciality books and articles throughout the year.
IMI is active in dissemination and exploitation, research, marketing, and
clinical trials and specializes in virtual reality, telehealth, videogame
virtual reality and human-computer interaction research.
What you need to bring
• Passion and desire for all things web, digital and
new technologies,
• Strong understanding of the using of social media and
latest web trends,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to find solutions quickly and to take
initiative
• Good knowledge of the English language (official
office language is English), other languages are assets
• Ablility to research psychology and technology
topics and synthesize them.
• basic HTML Knowledge
• writing for the web knowledge (links,
keywords...)
What you'll do with us
• Be an active member of the communication team,
• Implement the content strategy
• maintain an overview of what content is posted
on the organization’s websites and assist any site migrations
• update the organization’s social media
platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter) and plan new
strategies to integrate websites with social media tools and blogs
• monitor the organization’s audience and looks
for and implement new strategies to maintain and grow traffic
• assist the Communications Manager in designing
pages and landing pages for new channels and special events
• If you like illustration or photography, illustrate
social media posts
