Trainee for the Communication Team, (m/f) Copa-Cogeca

The Secretariat of Copa-Cogeca, which represents European farmers and European agri-cooperatives, is recruiting 1 trainee for the Communication Team (m/f).
With Communication moving up the agenda, Copa-Cogeca is looking to recruit a trainee to join its communication team to increase visibility of the EU agriculture sector on the web and on social networks. The position would last for a 6 month period, with possible extension to 12 months.
His/her main functions will be:
To maximise the visibility of the EU agriculture sector on the web and on social media platforms, namely twitter and Instagram, using new techniques.
To assist Copa-Cogeca's communication team managing Copa-Cogeca's website, Agri Info, photo gallery and audio-visual products to be launched on the web and U-tube.
Help to develop Copa-Cogeca's work on infographics
Profile:
University degree in the discipline of communication, journalism or political sciences.
Social media experience/training with strong design and visual communication skills, good knowledge of google search engine optimisation (SEO).
Knowledge of European agriculture and agri-food sector, EU policy and EU institutions preferable.
Fluent in English and French. Other European Union language(s) is/are an advantage.
Highly developed team spirit, strong analytical skills and the ability to be an efficient communicator.

Ministry of Education Scholarships for Foreign Students in Slovak Republic, 2015-2016

The Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic is inviting applications for international scholarships available for accredited study programs at public universities for the academic year 2015/2016. Holders of these Ministry of Education scholarships are exempt from administration fees for the granting of a permit and the extension of a permit for temporary stay in the SR pursuant to internal legal regulations of the SR. Scholarships for three types of study programs  will be awarded as follows: 10 places for students for semestral/ 5 – months study stay, 7 places for graduates for semestral/5 – months study stay and 2 places for 3-months academic stay. The application deadline is 31st May 2015.

3-months academic stay: for graduates of foreign universities continuing  in the areas of education and research, to be implemented in the workplaces of public universities in the SR. Persons applying for a scholarship for academic stay in the framework of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR offer must fulfill these conditions:
-have completed university education in a minimum of second degree study programme (having gained the academic title “MSc.” at a foreign university or “Mgr.”, “Ing.”, “MUDr.” or “MVDr.” at a university in the SR) and work at foreign university or at foreign academic institute,
-only university graduates in age from 30 to 50 years may apply for the scholarship of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR.

Scholarship Description: The Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic advertises scholarships for accredited study programs at public universities for the academic year 2015/2016. What does it cover? These ministry of education scholarships will be awarded for three types of study programs as follows:
During study in 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree university study programmes (hereinafter referred to as bachelor, master and doctoral study) in Slovak Republic: For the approved period of time the scholarship holders, as decided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR pursuant to internal state, will be provided the following:
-a monthly scholarship in total amount of 280 € (1st and 2nd degree); a monthly scholarship in total amount of 330 € (3rd degree)
-accommodation in student halls of residence and catering in student dining halls at a fee equal to that for students with the SR citizenship,
-education at the selected public university, under the same conditions as provided for citizens of the SR during the approved study stay.
3-months academic stay: For the approved period of time the scholarship holders, as decided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR pursuant to internal state, will be provided the following:
-a monthly scholarship in total amount of 550 €,
-accommodation of collegial type and catering in employees dining halls of receiving organization for a consideration.
-Healthcare with the exception of spa treatment and prosthetic works based on individual insurance policy concluded by the scholarship holder prior his/her arrival to the SR.

Description
IMT (Institutions, Markets, Technologies) Institute for Advanced Studies is located in Lucca, Italy. IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca is a public graduate school and research institute that focuses on the analysis of economic, societal, technological and cultural systems.
Applications are now being accepted for PhD students in Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage (AMCH) for the 2015/16 PhD program at IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca. 
Highly motivated candidates are invited to apply for one of the 35 fully-funded scholarships of the three-year doctoral program, which is articulated in curricula. The 3 curricula currently offered are field-specific, although in many instances they share a common scientific background.
The AMCH curriculum proposes courses in Management of Cultural Heritage and Cultural Institutions, European and International Legislation on Cultural Heritage and Landscape, Art History, Museology, Technologies applied to the valorization of Cultural Heritage. Both research oriented and practice oriented courses constitute the program, which aims at educating qualified professionals operating in the concrete field of cultural management and academics.  
Who can apply?
Admission to IMT's PhD program is competitive on an international level, with evaluation mainly focusing on past academic performance (grades) and scientific relevance to the selected curricula. First and foremost, however, certain basic formal requirements must be met before candidates are eligible to apply. Namely, applicants must have completed and obtained a degree equivalent to at least 4 years of university studies. (Students in their final year of undergraduate study may be admitted on the condition that their bachelor's degree is awarded before they enroll at IMT.)
Applications are open to candidates without regard to nationality, age, gender or religion. Proficiency in English is compulsory as research and teaching are conducted in English. No knowledge of Italian is requested.

Grants
All students admitted to the PhD program are not required to pay tuition fees. A number of grants are available to support the participation to the program (see exact number in the current call. Additional grants may become available after the launch of the call). Grants are assigned to admitted students according to the final ranking determined by the evaluation process. The grant is €13,638.47 per year (≅ €12,378.30 net/year), and can be increased by 50% during the periods spent abroad for study and research (from 2 to 9 months).
Accommodation
All students who are granted a scholarship have free accommodation in shared double rooms on campus residential facilities (with the exception of students whose permanent residence is within 30km of IMT)
Canteen
All PhD students at IMT are offered free meals (lunch and dinner) at the school canteen located on campus. Lunch and dinner are served each day, Monday through Sunday, for the entire academic year. Vegetarian menus or take-away meals are available on request through the online canteen reservation system.
Campus
Advanced training and research at IMT are fully integrated thanks to the high quality of its services and underlying scientific infrastructure. 2016 CICOPS Scholarships for Developing Countries at University of Pavia, Italy

Each year the University of Pavia and the Organisation for the Right to Education (EDiSU) offer 10 scholarships for visiting scholars for a period of stay of 4 to 10 weeks at the University of Pavia. The scholarships are available for both junior and senior members of universities in developing countries and members of major research centres and international organizations with specific interests in the field of development studies. The application deadline is May 31st, 2015.

Scholarship Description: The scholarships were designed for both junior and senior members of universities in developing countries or members of major research centres and international organizations with specific interests in the field of development studies. Since 1998, the University of Pavia and the Institute for University Studies (EDiSU) have offered about ten scholarships yearly for a four to ten week stay in Pavia, during which time the scholars carry out joint research with professors in the department that hosts them and often hold seminars. Academics and other researchers from developing countries who wish to carry out research in collaboration with a professor at the University of Pavia are welcome to apply. Applicants must have the support of a collaborator at the University of Pavia.
Number of award(s): The University of Pavia and the Organisation for the Right to Education (EDiSU) provide 10 scholarships for 2016.
Duration of award(s): CICOPS scholarships are foreseen for research collaboration in the short period (from 4 to 10 weeks) in order to encourage the mobility of researchers from developing countries.

Selection Criteria: Scientific and professional value being equal, preference will be given to applicants employed at Universities/Institutions linked to University of Pavia with a pre-existing Cooperation Agreement and to applicants from lower income economies, according to the World Bank list. The committee will rank the candidates and the scholarships will be assigned according to a principle of rotation among the departments.
Notification: A decision will be taken by a Committee composed of the President of CICOPS and by two members designated by the Reactor by June 30th 2015.
How to Apply: The students can apply online. Applications must be supported by a letter of invitation from a teacher of the University of Pavia, someone who would work with you on a joint research while in Pavia. Without a formal invitation from a professor of the University of Pavia your application will not be taken into consideration.
