Masa Israel Grant and Scholarship for International Students, Israel

Your grant/scholarship will be deducted from the total cost of your program. The amount available depends on your country of origin, age, and the length of your program. Description
Masa Israel works to make it as easy as possible for young adults to go to Israel. We offer grants and scholarships to help make the experience more affordable, and collect information about other grants and scholarships available for long-term Israel programs from third party organizations.

North America

Eligble gap year and study abroad participants automatically receive $1,000 and eligible participants over the age of 21 automatically receive $3,000 - $4,500 (depending on the length and cost of your program). Masa Israel also offers eligible participants up to $3,000 in additional needs-based scholarships.

Former Soviet Union (FSU)
Masa participants from the Former Soviet Union are eligible to apply for universal grants in the amount of up to $10,000 (depending on the length of your program).

Argentina
Masa participants from Argentina are eligible to apply for universal grants in the amount of up to $9,500 (depending on the length of your program).

Other countries
All Masa Israel participants are eligible to apply for universal grants and need-based scholarships. The amount available depends on your age: gap year and study abroad participants automatically receive $1,000 and participants  over the age of 21 automatically receive $3,000 - $4,500 (depending on the length and cost of your program). Masa Israel also offers eligible participants needs-based scholarships of up to $10,000 (including the universal grant and depending on the length of your program).

Eligibility
All Masa Israel participants are eligible to apply for universal grants and need-based scholarships towards the cost of your program.

Application Procedure

  • Prepare the following information:  the full name of the program to which you are applying, your contact information, including a current email address,  If you are applying for a needs-based scholarship, you'll aslo need your or your parents' current financial information
  • Carefully read each step of the application. Complete all mandatory fields (marked with *) before moving on to the next step of the application.
  • After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email. The email will inclde a PDF file of your application. After verifying that the information in the PDF file is correct, print the last page of the PDF file, sign and date it—we can't accept digital signatures.
  • Submit this signed last page directly to your Israel program (whose name will appear on the form) by email, fax or regular mail. If you are also applying for a needs-based scholarship, please include the appropriate financial documentation.

Submission Deadline

The grant application for 2013-2014 is not yet open (for programs beginning after July 1, 2013). Please check back in January!
