Taught Master’s Scholarships are
only available for UK and EU students at Swansea University. This
Taught Master’s Scholarships are fully sponsored by the Convergence
European Social Fund (ESF) through the Welsh Assembly Government. These
scholarships will cover UK/EU tuition fees and living costs up to
£5695.
Description
These Taught Master’s Scholarships are part of the Access to Masters (ATM) programme backed by the Convergence European Social Fund (ESF) through the Welsh Assembly Government. The programme aims to widen access to postgraduate study and encourage high calibre graduates to work on a range of collaborative research projects with small and medium sized organisations located in the Convergence Area of Wales (Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Swansea & Torfaen).
Benefits: Each scholarship covers UK/EU tuition fees and £5695 living costs (tax free)

Eligibility
- Scholarships are available only to new Master’s applicants who are UK/EU categorized students.
- Applicants should hold (or be expecting to achieve) a minimum of a 2.1 degree (or equivalent).
- Applicants must be resident in the Convergence Area of Wales on enrolment, throughout their studies and be permitted to work in the Convergence area of Wales upon completion of the scholarship.
- Applicants should have already applied formally to the University for a place on one of our Master’s programmes.
