EU Public Affairs trainee with digital policy experience
Cambre Associates is looking for a Public Affairs Trainee with relevant experience with EU digital policies.
Tasks to be performed include research, monitoring, analysis and reporting on policy and legislative developments. The trainee will also provide support and input on advocacy campaigns and will be working closely with the European Institutions and stakeholders.
Profile required:
At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as political science, law or European studies.
  • Relevant experience in European Institutions, trade association, company or consultancy.
  • Experience with EU digital policy (Digital Single Market, Data Protection, Internet of Things, sharing economy, etc.) beneficial
  • Excellent command and drafting skills in English.
  • Good knowledge of EU decision-making processes.
  • Interest in developing consultancy skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and a proactive, self-starting ‘can do’ attitude are essential.
  • Capable of taking initiative and working well under pressure.
  • Good team player with proven writing, research, and organisation skills is a must.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
We offer a 6-month paid trainee contract in a highly stimulating international work environment and the opportunity to start a career in PA & PR.
Start date: as soon as possible.
