Description
A selection committee awards the International College Ambassador Scholarship to the study abroad student whom it considers to be the best “international ambassador” for The University of Akron. The award in the amount of $2,500 is given by The University of Akron Women’s Committee to help the student cover the costs of the international education experience.
Eligibility
This scholarship award is specially offered to undergraduate student, in good standing, who has been accepted for at least a semester-long study abroad program at The University of Akron or other accredited academic institution is eligible. The student must have at least the 2014-2015 academic year of study remaining at The University of Akron following the term abroad. The application requires two letters of reference. One student is selected through an interview process. Interviews are tentatively set for Monday, May 6, 2013.
