University of Prince Edward Island offers Scholarships for National and International PhD Students in the field of Science, Canada 2013
About Scholarship: The Peter MacCormack Memorial Scholarship will be awarded by January 2013 to a student pursuing a PhD program in the UPEI Faculty of Science. This non- renewable scholarship valued at $4,000 can be held in conjunction with other sources of funding and will be awarded to a student with demonstrated academic excellence.

Eligibility: Both Canadian and non-Canadian candidates enrolled in a PhD program at the time of the adjudication and who have an excellent academic record are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be selected based on academic record, professional and scholarly contributions, and demonstrated or potential ability in the area of study.
Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the recommendations of the Faculty of Science Graduate Studies Committee and approved by the UPEI Awards and Scholarships Committee.

Cover: $4,000
Apply: Applicants must submit a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae, official transcripts of current and previous university programs and arrange for two letters of reference to be sent to the UPEI Scholarship and Awards Office.
