Description
United Nations Office for Project Services supports
the successful implementation of its partners’ peacebuilding, humanitarian and
development projects around the world. Our mission is to serve people in need
by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners
to manage projects, infrastructure and procurement in a sustainable and
efficient manner.
The intern will work in the People and Change Group in
Copenhagen, Denmark and will assist with the design of various internal
communication materials (i.e. reports, posters, icons, etc.) for print and web. A
high collaboration and engagement with Communication and Partnership Group is
expected. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a test to assess
their creative capacity and design skills.
Eligibility
Applicants must be pursuing a University Degree in in
Graphic Design, Illustration, Visual Communication or other relevant
discipline, or have graduated from such studies within the last 3
years.
Very good knowledge of Adobe CC suite DTP software i.e.
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign;
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skill, i.e. MS PowerPoint, MS
Publisher, MS Word;
Knowledge of a CMS system is an asset;
Basic understanding of Front-end UI and HCI from a design
perspective;
Fluency in English is required, ability to speak French
and/or Spanish is an asset.
Note that: While no prior work experience is required,
applicants with some knowledge of the these tools are highly desired.
Remuneration
Interns may be eligible for a monthly stipend from UNOPS
provided that they do not receive funds from other institutions. Further, UNOPS
may provide a one time travel lump sum of USD 500.
