Erasmus Internship offer at Maltepe University (MEDIA)

We are searching for students who will take place at our office in Maltepe University in İstanbul, Turkey.
Tasks:
Use digital platforms for outreach campaigns, including Facebook, blogs, Twitter and more.
Draft basic media outreach materials such as background briefings, fact sheets, opinion pieces and letters to the coordinator.
Outreach to other organizations and publishers, including about our website and publications.
Candidates should be from the following fields of studies:

•  Media and Communications,
•  Public Relations,
•  Journalism.

Learning Benefits:
Depending on their interests and background, media interns may obtain skills and experience in:
- international event management
- using social media
- promoting international events and projects
- website management and design
- document design
Placement location: Maltepe- Istanbul (P.O. 34857-Asian Side)
Start Date: In any time.
Working hours per week: to be negotiated.
Accommodation: will be negotiated with the general coordinator of the program.
Financial aid: We do not provide any financial aid, but the lunch meals are free of charge for interns.
Competencies, skills, experience:
The candidates should be qualified by:

• Fluent spoken and written English,
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience in multicultural working environments
• Experience with news media libraries and wire services
• Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils,
• Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, ımaginative presentation,
• Preparing and making work to facilitate positive pupil development,
• Working with others to plan and coordinate work,
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate critical thinking.
• Organizing and taking part in school events.
• Strong organizational and research skills demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Other requirements are:

• Strict social skills,
• Outstanding reporting skills,
• Being cooperative and tendency to team work,
• Operative skills,
• Good negotiation skills,
• Able to work in team and autonomously, etc.
• Candidates should have an international working or education experience.
