Asian Cultural Council fellowship grants for International Students
Individual fellowship grants to artists, scholars, students, and specialists from Asia for work in the United States. Asian Cultural Council provides cultural exchange between the United States and Asia through unique visual and performing arts and humanities projects. The international Students are eligible to apply for fellowship grants. The fellowship grants will help cover living costs and international travel for students participating in graduate degree programs in the field of visual and performing arts.
World Press Institute Fellowships for International Journalists
The World Press Institute offers Fellowships for International Journalist in the field of Print, Broadcast, or Online Journalism. The program usually begins in mid-August and end in mid-October. BMI Student Awards for International Students
A series of study abroad scholarships are awarded for various music and art related disciplines. The BMI award is open for international students and US Citizens. The Foundation awards grants on an annual basis. The program is available in American music. Deadline for each scholarship may vary.
Caldwell Fellowships at NC State University
A fellowship wherein graduate students conduct research and travel abroad. Students must be less than 30 earned university-level credit hours at NC State University. A consist strong academic record is the criteria for Caldwell Fellowships. Scholarship deadline for applying is January 15, 2013.
Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh (CNUP) summer fellowship for International Students
10-week program in which selected undergraduate students conduct independent research. Student recipients of this competitive fellowship will receive a stipend of $3,000 and also will be provided housing at no cost in a double-occupancy dormitory on campus. The international and US students are eligible for summer undergraduate research program. The application postmark deadline is February 13, 2013.
Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program for US and International Students
The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program offers internships in public policy located in Washington, DC, and at state-based policy organizations across the country featuring a $1,500 stipend. Koch foundation offers 80 fellowships. The fellowships are offered to International and US students. Applications may be submitted from September through the application deadline on January 31, 2013.
Chevening Scholarship Program for International Students
Three study abroad scholarships for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom for students from selected Countries in any field of study. The chevening scholarship provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level, for the duration of a one-year Master’s degree program, in any subject and at any UK university. Marshall Scholarship provides funding for USA students to study in any UK university. Deadline of each scholarship may vary.
DAAD Annual Grants for International Students
For these study abroad scholarships, international students are eligible for attending a US institution to pursue undergraduate degree or to do research and study in the Federal Republic of Germany. The scholarship is available for international and US students at any institution of Germany. All applications for the academic year 2013/14 must be postmarked by February 2, 2013.
Environmental Research and Education Foundation
These study abroad scholarships recognize excellence in PhD or postdoctoral environmental research and education. Scholarship awards are based on the basis of academic performance, professional experience, Potential for success and interest in solid waste management research. Scholarship awarded up to $12,000 per year, paid monthly for duration of three years. Application must be received by May 8, 2012
Eurasian Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD) for Eurasian Students
Fellowships to first, second, and third-year undergraduate students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. This program supports one year of non-degree undergraduate study in the United States in the particular fields. The deadline for Eurasian Undergraduate Exchange Program to apply was January 14, 2013.
Inter American Press Association (IAPA) Scholarship for International Students
These study abroad scholarships are available for young journalists and journalism school graduates from Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States. The scholarship covers stipend for their abroad stay and airfare. Scholarship begins before September of the year the award is announced. Applications and their respective documentation shall be received between October 15, 2012 and January 30, 2013.
International Dissertation Field Research Fellowships for International Students
Up to 50 fellowships to support social scientists and humanists conducting dissertation field research in all areas and regions of the world. The international Students are eligible for apply. Eighty fellowships are awarded each year in the field of humanities and social sciences. The funding is available for the duration of nine to twelve months. Applications must be complete and submitted online before on November 7, 2012.
Leader of the Pack Scholarships
These study abroad scholarships are open for students who completed two semesters at NC state university and intend to remain in USA. Applicants must also be recognized by their community as leaders. The students of USA are eligible for this scholarship. Students must have enrolled in the undergraduate program in NC state university with CGPA of 3.25 or higher. Applications will be open on August 14, 2012 and due by September 25, 2012.
Mayo Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program for International Students
Fellowships dedicated to scientific research alongside professional scientists. The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program award covers $5000 (excluding taxes), meals, traveling, and accommodation for the duration of 10 weeks. International students who are attending a U.S. college or university are eligible to apply for undergraduate research fellowship.
Organization of American States (OAS) Fellowships for Canadian students
Fellowship program for graduate students studying or research in any field except medical sciences or introductory language study course. Canadian students are eligible to apply and studying in the OAS member state. The scholarship covers tuition and course fees, international travel, and health insurance. The application form and all required documentation must be received by the one at least seven business days before the deadline in the specific course announcement.
Peace Scholar Dissertation Fellowship for International Students
Supports doctoral dissertations that explore the sources and nature of international conflict, and strategies to prevent or end conflict and to sustain peace. International Students are eligible, but must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States. Each year approximately 10 fellowships are offered for the duration of 10 months. The new application for the 2014-2015 competition will be open by late spring, 2013.
Rhodes Scholarships for International Students at Oxford University in UK
1-3 years of study at Oxford University for citizens of Australia, Bangladesh, Bermuda, Canada, Commonwealth Caribbean and Jamaica, Germany, Hong Kong, India Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The eligibility criteria for these study abroad scholarships is citizenship and residency, age and education. Applications for Rhodes Scholarships open during the spring and summer of the preceding year.
The Roothbert Fund Scholarship Program
Approximately 20 ($2,000-$3,000) awards are offered to students in the U.S. in need of financial aid to further their education at the undergraduate or graduate level. Selection criteria is high academic requirement and seeking career in education. Awards are announced in late April. Application forms are available each year in November 1 to January 31.
Samuel Huntington Public Service Fellowship Award for International Students
Fellowship award of annual stipend of $10,000 for a graduating college senior to pursue public service anywhere in the world. International students enrolled in the University of USA are eligible to apply. Selection criteria for fellowship award are quality of your proposal, your academic record, and other personal achievements. Please complete and mail in an application form (pdf) by January 18, 2013.
Smithsonian Fellowships for International Students
All Smithsonian fellowships (graduate, pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, senior) opportunities are open to non-US citizens. Selection criteria are academic standing, scholarly qualifications, and experiences, the quality of the research project or study proposed and its suitability to Smithsonian collections, facilities, and programs. Each fellowship deadline may vary.
Spencer Foundation Dissertation Fellowship
Candidates for the doctoral degree at a graduate school within the United States are eligible.25 fellowships are awarded. Applications are evaluated on the basis of applicants past research record, career in education research, and the quality of the project. The application deadline for postdoctoral research for the 2013 program will be November 2, 2012. The application deadline for dissertation research for the 2013 program will be October 5, 2012.
Swiss Benevolent Society of New York Scholarships
Merit based awards for study at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels both in the U.S. and abroad. The students or one of his or her parents must be a Swiss national. Students must be in good academic standing and have good aptitude in his fields of study. Applications should be addressed to the address below and must be received by January 31st.
Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice
Students applying for the one year Villers Fellowship ($35,000 annual salary) must show commitment to social and health care justice advocacy following their year of hands-on experience as a fellow. One Fellow is awarded and will receive a compensatory package which includes an annual salary, health benefits. All materials must be postmarked on or received by January 25, 2013.
