An exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience on the frontlines
of human rights research and advocacy, providing a voice for victims of
religious persecution and injustice all over the world. As an intern
gaining experience in human rights advocacy, you will work in CSW’s
Brussels office and assist CSW’s highly experienced team of advocates,
documenting violations of religious freedom and bringing the plight of
those persecuted for their faith to the attention of EU governments and
institutions, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), media and the
general public.

The Person
With a good degree and a passion for human rights, you will be required to have excellent research and writing skills, demonstrate initiative and be able to work well under pressure. You will have a passion for speaking out for the persecuted and oppressed, and an interest in religious liberty. Ideally you will have had some experience of the countries in which we work and understanding about the way the EU functions and how EU advocacy works in practice. As well as fluent written and spoken English, you will have additional language skills, in particular French.
