2013 Taught Masters Centenary Excellence and Merit scholarships at Swansea University

Swansea University offers Taught Masters Centenary Excellence and Merit scholarships in the field of new arts and humanities. EU, UK and International students can apply for this scholarship. The Excellence and Merit scholarships will be available to EU, UK and International students who have completed a full-time three or four year BA programme, achieved a 2:1 or above, and gained a place on a one-year full-time Taught Masters programme in the College. 
About Scholarship: Students enrolling on undergraduate courses in Arts and Humanities this autumn will be in the running for scholarships for them to stay on to do an MA course. The Centenary Graduate Scholarships are the first of their kind in the UK. The aim is to reward academic achievement.

Eligibility: The Excellence and Merit scholarships will be available to EU, UK and International students who have completed a full-time three or four year BA programme, achieved a 2:1 or above, and gained a place on a one-year full-time Taught Masters programme in the College.
-Excellence scholarships – these will be automatically awarded to BA students who graduate with a 1st class degree.
-Merit scholarships – these will be automatically awarded to BA students who graduate with a 2:1 degree.

Value: -Excellence scholarships – This is worth £4,300 to UK/EU students and £10,300 to international students.
-Merit scholarships – The scholarship is worth £3,300 to UK/EU students and £9,300 to international students, which means students only pay £1000 in fees.
