The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
is a federally owned organisation. We work worldwide in the field of
international cooperation for sustainable development. Our mandate is to
support the German Government in achieving its development objectives.
We provide viable, forward-looking solutions for political, economic,
ecological and social development in a globalised world. The Brussels
Representation of the GIZ, is looking for a dynamic and motivated intern
as soon as possible for a period of 6 month. The position is based in
Brussels.
Tasks:

Tasks:
- Assisting in day-to-day activities
- Monitoring and analysis of activities in the European Parliament and the European Commission
- Gathering material and analyzing European Commission documents
- Assisting in the organisation of workshops and conferences
- Masterstudent or recent Master graduate in the field of political or social sciences (or other relevant studies) – the graduation date cannot exceed 6 months from the start of the internship
- Experience with international development policies
- Good knowledge of EU institutions, preferably previous work experience with the Parliament or the Commission;
- Excellent German skills, fluency in English. French would be an asset.
