The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is an alliance of over 230 national diabetes associations with two million members in more than 170 countries and territories. It is committed to raising the global awareness of diabetes, building the evidence of the impact of diabetes, and providing tools for people with diabetes and health professionals.
The IDF Intern Program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to obtain training and exposure to IDF’s work in the field of diabetes and non-communicable diseases. All intern posts are based at the Federation’s Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

TEMPUS PUBLIC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS IN HUNGARY

Description
The Tempus Public Foundation is calling applications for foreigners to apply for Hungarian State Scholarships to conduct research in the academic year 2018/2019.
The Tempus Public Foundation offers scholarships for foreign higher education graduates, lecturers and researchers who would like to gain further knowledge in Hungarian higher education institutions, research or art institute.
Tempus Public Foundation (TPF) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 by the Hungarian Government, with the task of managing international cooperation programmes and special projects in the field of education, training, and EU-related issues.
Eligibility
Scholarships are available to foreign students. Thus, applications may be submitted in the following two ways:
1) As a nominee of the sending country’s national scholarship organisation, based on the bilateral agreement of the two countries (independently from the applicant’s nationality): Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Republic of China, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, India, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Vietnam;

For short-term research (3-29 days) applicants holding at least a master’s degree may apply;
For long-term research (1-10 months) applicants holding at least a master’s degree may apply. (Doctoral students may not apply; they may apply for Partial studies.)
Cases of Non-Eligibility
Foreign citizens with an immigration/ settlement permit or in the course of applying for such a permit in Hungary, or dual citizens;
Foreign citizens with permanent residence in Hungary;
Foreign citizens employed on a permanent basis as defined by the Hungarian Labour Law;
Students in employment applying for part-time or correspondence study programmes.
Age Limit for Applicants
For all types of state scholarships, applicants must be over 18 at the time of submitting the application. There is no age limit.

Postgraduate applicants: stipend: EUR 255 /month, accommodation allowance: around EUR 223/month
Postdoctoral applicants: stipend: EUR 383 /month, accommodation allowance: EUR 255/month
How to Apply?
Applicants should submit their applications in the online application system of Tempus Public Foundation. It can be reached and filled in Hungarian and in English. The language of the documents (e.g., highest degree, language exam, certificate of student status) to be uploaded in the online system can be Hungarian, English, French or German. If they are not written in either of these four languages, their official Hungarian or English translations must also be attached. Documents with the stamp and signature of the issuing institution on letterhead can be considered as official, there is no need to have it translated by a translator office.
Application form of Tempus Public Foundation (downloadable from the online system). After signing and dating the document, it shall be uploaded scanned;
No more than a 3-month-old medical certificate issued by a GP of satisfactory health condition for studies (no contagious disease) (original copy and its certified Hungarian or English translation). No template available;
Copy of the picture page of ID card or passport;
Precise and detailed work plan – minimum 1- maximum 5-pages long (according to the work plan template);
Complete professional CV in Hungarian or English – attached as a file;
Copy of highest degree/diploma (original copy and its certified Hungarian or English translation);
Proof of proficiency in the language that is required for the research programme (at least a B2-level language exam certificate, or a certificate (in Hungarian or English) issued by the sending workplace/institution, Lectorate, or an official certificate by the Hungarian host institution on the basis of previous cooperation). In case the working language is not Hungarian, the host institution should declare it in writing (in the Invitation Letter);
Publication list;
Letter of Invitation issued by the representative of a Hungarian higher education institution, research or art institute. The document must be with original signature, date, and stamp and/or on institutional letterhead;
Two Letters of Recommendation from two recognized experts in the relevant discipline with original signature, date, stamp and/or on institutional letterhead. The signers of the Letters of Recommendations cannot be the same as of the Letter of Invitation.

MASTER SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN FINLAND

Description
Full tuition scholarships at the University of Jyvaskyla are now available to pursue master’s degree programmes in Finland. Scholarships are available to students of all nationalities.
Students must have Bachelor’s degree (academic first cycle degree), relevant to the field of education, and completed with good grades.
The University of Jyvaskyla is a University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. It has its origins in the first Finnish-speaking Teacher Training College, founded in 1863. Around 15,000 students are currently enrolled in the degree programs of the university. It is ranked as the fourth largest university in Finland when measured according to the number of master’s degrees conferred.
Eligibility
Entrance Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (academic first cycle degree), relevant to the field of education, and completed with good grades. Admission of an applicant graduating after the application deadline is conditional till s/he submits the degree certificate, the deadline being July 17th, 2018.

Scholarship
The scholarship covers the full tuition fee and it is awarded for two academic years. However, receiving the scholarship for the second academic year depends on your study progress and success during the first academic year:
In order to receive the scholarship for the second year, you must complete at least 55 ECTS credits of degree studies during the first year;
If you complete your degree in less than two years, the right to the scholarship expires upon the completion of your degree. Even if your studies are delayed, the scholarship is not granted for longer than two academic years;
Cost-of-living grants are available at the University of Jyväskylä only in the IMDP in Nuclear and Particle Physics.

Traineeship in Direct Supervision

Your team
As a successful applicant, you will be assigned to one of the Joint Supervisory Teams (JSTs) in Directorates General Microprudential Supervision I and II (DG/MS I and II), which are responsible for the ongoing supervision of significant banks within the scope of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM). The SSM is the system of banking supervision in Europe. It comprises the ECB and the national supervisory authorities of the participating countries.
A JST is a well-rounded team of experts in banking supervision who are in charge of the Supervisory Examination Programme for a specific significant bank falling under the direct supervision of the ECB. Each JST has between two and 15 members from the ECB and additional members from the national supervisory authorities. You may also be assigned to horizontal projects on banking supervision.
Your role
As a trainee, you will contribute to the tasks of a JST or of a horizontal team by:
analysing financial accounts and monitoring market perceptions of supervised entities;
analysing the legal and regulatory framework for financial institutions in various jurisdictions;
assisting with data collection and analysis, generating tables, charts and reports;
working independently, under the guidance of a mentor, on projects relating to the implementation of supervisory practices and standards.

an advanced command of English and an intermediate knowledge of at least one other official language of the EU.
