Stipendium Hungaricum is a scholarship program for international students, founded by the Hungarian Government in 2013. The program aims to promote cultural understanding, economic and cultural relations between Hungary and other countries. Through its framework, content and methodology, the Global Cultural Leadership Programme (GCLP) specifically aims to improve the skills of cultural managers, as well as develop collaborative peer-to-peer learning and network building.
The programme offers a set of learning modules, tools and manuals for practice-based learning, giving you opportunities to build meaningful collaborations at the global level, and enabling you to develop fresh insights into international cultural collaboration practices.For the second edition of the GCLP, the Cultural Diplomacy Platform is looking specifically for applications from outstanding cultural managers from the ten Strategic Partners of the EU (three participants from each of these ten countries: Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, India, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, South Korea and the USA), as well as from the 28 European Union Member States (ten participants, each from a different EU countries).
The participants to the GCLP 2017 will come from different fields of relevant cultural practice in their respective countries and represent sectors that are specifically interested in reaching out with their work globally.
This second edition of the GCLP will take place in Athens, Greece on 19-23 June 2017.
Eligibility
The 40 participants of the Global Cultural Leadership Programme (GCLP) will come from different fields of relevant cultural practice in their countries and represent sectors that are specifically interested in reaching out with their work globally. For the second edition of the programme, the Cultural Diplomacy Platform will look specifically for applications from outstanding cultural managers who fill in the criteria below: 
Geographical criteria:
are nationals/permanent residents of (and are working for organisations in) Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, India, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, South Korea or the USA (a maximum of three participants from each of these ten countries will be selected),
are nationals/permanent residents of (and are working for organisations in) the 28 EU Member States
(a maximum of ten EU participants in total will be selected, each one from a different EU country).
Professional experience:
work for a cultural civil society organisation (NGO), a cultural enterprise (social or for profitmaking) or a public cultural institution (such as museums, libraries, or music venues that operate on local, regional and national levels), 
have relevant working experience in the field of 3 to 5 years,
have (some) previous experience in international networking and cultural exchange,
are working in a field or position that allows them to act as local/national multipliers of new leadership knowledge and global cultural networking, and
hold a relevant (leading) position in their organisation.
Thematic interest:
are strongly interested in international cultural collaboration and wish to further develop professionally in a global working context,
show a strong awareness of intercultural sensitivities and are passionate about working on cultural issues and topics of global relevance.
Language criteria and age requirements
have a very good working knowledge of English,
are (preferably) 25-39 years of age.
Costs
As stated in the Call for Participants, all travel (full roundtrip flights and local transports in Malta) and accommodation (5 hotel nights, including breakfast) costs for selected participants will be covered by the Programme.
Most of the meals will also be covered by the Programme. The Programme does not cover the local transport in your own country.
There is no additional participation fee.
Application
Candidates will be selected by the management team of the Cultural Diplomacy Platform and the five experts/tutors who deliver the programme.
Selected candidates (30 from the ten Strategic Partners of the EU, and ten from the EU) will be informed about their participation by mid-April 2017.
The management team will assist selected participants in their travel preparations (including visas) and bookings.

for a six month internship to support in all advocacy activities
The position is for a highly motivated, well organised and efficient candidate who is looking to gain hands-on EU policy and advocacy experience and country and issue-specific knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Research and draft background materials on EU policy and activities
Support the advocacy team in monitoring closely and preparing regular news summaries and updates on EU policies and institutions, as well as EU member state developments;
Review and prepare summaries and analysis of EU policy documents
Attend advocacy meetings, conferences and events and prepare event reports and meeting notes
Provide general administrative support
Requirements:
An undergraduate degree or in pursuit of a degree, preferably in European studies, Economics, Law, Political Science or similar

Queen Margaret University Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2017

The University has a number of Queen Margaret University Scholarships available for September 2017 start courses. These scholarships are available for new international students undertaking their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the academic year 2017-18.
Queen Margaret University is a modern university located in Musselburgh, East Lothian near Edinburgh in Scotland. It is named after Saint Margaret, wife of King Malcolm III of Scotland.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: University is pleased to offer competitive scholarships of £3,000 each for new international students. The scholarship is granted as a reduction of the tuition fee and is available to students who are self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £9,000 for a single year of study only.

International Scholarships for Contemporary Japan Program (CJP) at KGU in Japan, 2017-2018

Kwansei Gakuin University is offering International Scholarships for Contemporary Japan Program (CJP). In order to attend Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU) as an exchange student, students must be enrolled at their of KGU’s partner universities
The Contemporary Japan Program is specially designed for incoming exchange students to Kwansei Gakuin University. Exchange students are offered a choice between two study tracks that will define the main focus of their time at KGU, the “Japanese Language Track” and the “Modern Japan Track”.
Kwansei Gakuin University, colloquially abbreviated to Kangaku, is a non-denominational Christian private and coeducational university in Nishinomiya, Sanda, Osaka City, and Tokyo, Japan.
No prior knowledge of Japanese Language is necessary to study at KGU as an exchange student.
Course Level: Scholarships are awarded to study in Japan for a semester or an academic year.
Study Subject: Scholarships are available for pursuing Contemporary Japan Program (CJP).
Scholarship Award:
The JASSO scholarship: The Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) offers a limited amount of scholarships for incoming exchange students requiring financial support and fulfilling the specific prerequisites for nomination to study in Japan for a semester or an academic year. This scholarship includes a monthly stipend of ¥80,000 (estimated) which will be provided after arriving in Japan. The number of scholarships available varies each year according to government funding. JASSO Scholarship recipients are forbidden from concurrently receiving other scholarships which pay the equivalent of a monthly stipend of the amount of the JASSO Scholarship or higher. Recipients receiving any such additional scholarship will lose the JASSO Scholarship. Applicants may concurrently apply for such scholarships, but will have to decline them should the JASSO Scholarship be awarded.
Other external scholarships: KGU may be able to nominate incoming exchange students for other external scholarship. In this case, KGU will
contact students who submitted a Scholarship Application Form and fulfill specific prerequisites for each different scholarship. KGU may require the student to submit extra documents such as a proof of the family’s income.
Scholarship can be taken in Japan
Eligibility: In order to attend Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU) as an exchange student, students must be enrolled at one of KGU’s partner universities. Candidates who have been officially nominated by their partner institutions must fulfill the following requirements
A student who has good character and performed well academically in their home institution. The students’ grades from the previous academic year must be equal exceed 2.30 according to the scholarship GPA formula below. Academic transcripts for the previous semester will be sufficient if transcripts for the whole academic year are unavailable. Moreover, in the rare case that student’s grades cannot be calculated according to the Scholarship GPA Evaluation Chart, the student will need to and then a letter of recommendation which states that the nominee
performs well academically to the standards we require for a scholarship nomination will be substituted. This letter must be written by a member of academic or administrative staff from the home institution.
A student who has a clear purpose for studying in Japan and who will benefit from the exchange experience.
A student who needs financial assistance for studying in Japan. Students with a family income lower than 8,000,000 JPY per year will be considered preferentially.
A student who will continue their studies and/or who will receive a degree at their home university after completion of the exchange program.
A student who will have the visa status of college student when coming to Japan. Japanese Nationals are not eligible.
If a student is awarded another scholarship for his/her studies in Japan, the amount of money received from that scholarship should not exceed the amount of the scholarship received through KGU.
A student who hasn’t received a scholarship in the past to come and study in Japan as an exchange student. Or if a student has received a scholarship in the past as an exchange student at least 3 years must have passed since receiving the scholarship
Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Test Requirement: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 or the equivalent level is required. Students who wish to take regular university courses at KGU during their exchange must have already passed JLPT N1, or pass the Regular Course Aptitude test (JLPT N1 equivalent level) after arriving in Japan (also held during orientation). Those who have passed JLPT N1 should submit a document of proof with their application.
English Language Requirement: No prior knowledge of Japanese Language is necessary to study at KGU as an exchange student. However please note that to register in the Japanese Language Track, you have to master the two Japanese scripts, hiragana and katakana, by the time you arrive to Japan as proved by the results of your placement tests. Dahlem Postdoc Fellowships 2017

Scholarship: a monthly research allowance (300 Euro for office-based/ 600 Euro for field-trip-based/ 900 Euro for lab-based projects)
Description
DAHLEM POSTDOC FELLOWSHIPS provide funding for highly qualified postdoctoral fellows with at least six months of international research experience* to conduct their own research within one of the university’s outstanding collaborative research projects. In addition, international research stays are supported in order to allow researchers to build up a full year of international research experience by the time they complete their DAHLEM POSTDOC FELLOWSHIP.
Eligibility
Applicants have to submit a project plan based on the research fields/ key topics of the participating host research projects of Freie Universität Berlin.
The call is open to:
Postdoctoral researchers of all disciplines and all nationalities;
Hold a doctoral degree (the dissertation must be submitted and proof must be available by the application deadline);
Completed their doctoral degree no longer than four years prior to the deadline (the date on the doctoral certificate applies);
For applicants with children, one year per child will be added to the permitted duration;

Have at least six months’ international research experience, three months of which must be an uninterrupted stay. 
Scholarship

Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarships for applicants from Ukraine, Georgia and Afghanistan

Tallinn University has received funding from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to offer scholarships for candidates applying for English taught Master’s programmes. 
In 2017, four stipends are available for applicants from Afghanistan, Georgia and Ukraine for the following programmes (one full scholarship per programme):
International Relations programme - for Georgian and Ukrainian applicants
The scholarship covers the tuition fee for two years (2700 EUR per year) and will provide a stipend of 300 EUR per month for two years (18 months).
Human-Computer Interaction programme - for Afghan, Georgian and Ukrainian applicants.
The scholarship covers the tuition fee for two years (2500 EUR per year) and will provide a stipend of 300 EUR per month for two years (18 months).
Digital Learning Games programme - for Georgian and Ukrainian applicants.
The scholarship covers the tuition fee for two years (2500 EUR per year) and will provide a stipend of 300 EUR per month for two years (18 months).
Communication Management programme - for Georgian and Ukrainian applicants.
The scholarship covers the tuition fee for two years (3600 EUR per year) and will provide a stipend of 300 EUR per month for two years (18 months).
The exact conditions of allocating the scholarships for the candidates are still pending and will be announced in the coming weeks.

The University of Bern is offering up to 15 doctoral positions for upcoming international scholars. Positions are available for students who have completed all of their studies-to-date outside of Switzerland and achieved outstanding grades in their master’s degree.
The aim of students is to commence and complete your doctoral studies at the University of Bern. All of your academic qualifications to date have been obtained outside of Switzerland, and you have achieved outstanding grades.

Course Level: Positions are available pursuing the doctoral programme.
Study Subject: Positions are open to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: The positions are limited to three years, and must commence before the 1st of January 2018. Payment is according to the regulations of the Swiss National Fund (SNF). A prerequisite for the application process, however, is that a doctoral supervisor from the University of Bern is prepared to cover 50% of the wages for the 3 year period.

Education:

Enhesa is seeking several interns with various language skills to assist its European team of legal consultants to cover one of these countries: Latin American countries & Portugal, Hungary, Denmark, Netherlands or French speaking countries.
The consultant will be required to research environment, health and safety legal requirements. The consultant may also be required to cover other countries where official documents are published in the language of the country they would be responsible for.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Researching EHS law, regulations and policy in its respective country;
Monitoring existing and draft EHS law to alert industry on future requirements; and
Preparing written reports allowing industry to measure regulatory compliance;
Depending on language skills and experience, the successful candidate will be required to research EHS requirements in other countries.
Your skills and qualification
Law degree;
Strong analytical research and writing skills with a demonstrated ability to research and analyse law and policy in the country of the specified language required;
Next to your native language fluency in English is essential;
Interest in and understanding of EHS law in different related countries and industrial processes.
This 6 months paid-internship will take place in Brussels.

The University of Geneva is offering a new scholarship program for 2017-2018 intake. Scholarships are open for citizens of developing countries to undertake Swiss institution’s International Organizations MBA (IOMBA) programme.
This scholarship program has the objective to encourage and facilitate the participation of candidates coming from abroad to Geneva, candidates coming from low and middle-income countries as well as candidates working in a Nonprofit Organization.
The University of Geneva is a public research university located in Geneva, Switzerland. It was founded in 1559 by John Calvin as a theological seminary and law school. It remained focused on theology until the 17th century when it became a centre for Enlightenment scholarship. In 1873, it dropped its religious affiliations and became officially secular.
A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score, no older than 2 years, is required of all applicants whose native language is not English, or who did not receive an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution in which the language of instruction was English
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s programme.
