Communications Internship

Founded in 1904, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the federation of the world’s leading motoring organisations and the governing body for world motor sport. 

The activities of the FIA cover two main pillars: mobility and sport. On the sport side, the FIA administers the rules and regulations for the main international four-wheel motor sport disciplines. On the mobility side, the FIA represents the rights of motor sport organisations, motorists and travellers throughout the world.

The FIA has a position open for an intern to work as part of the FIA Communications team. The Internship will mainly focus on the FIA's global road safety campaign, as well as on the broader automobile mobility issues.

Responsibilities:

Writing of press releases;

Drafting of articles for the website fia.com and FIA publications;

Responding to correspondence;

Preparation of briefing notes;

Supporting activities of FIA campaigns and partnerships;

Monitoring of daily press and management of the department's subscriptions and update of the press listings;

Assisting with website and social media;

Responding to requests from FIA Member Clubs, departments and championships and liaising with FIA rood safety ambassadors and partners.

Qualities:

Candidates must be native English speakers or fluent in English, with proven experience in English-speaking countries of at least one year;

Knowledge of French and Spanish; Italian or German is an asset;

Candidates are also required to have very good English writing skills and excellent selfmanagement skills;

A basic knowledge of the Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) would be a strong asset, as well as website and social media skills;

Knowledge of international relations and communications;

Interest in motor sport welcomed;

Website and social media skills.
