Fondation EurActiv operates a trainee scheme in
Brussels for young professionals and recent graduates. Qualified interns will
be trained to assist in either editorial, public affairs, marketing, events,
social media or other online publishing activities. Starting dates throughout

minimum six months and maximum 12 months remunerated.

We are now looking for a full-time Translation
Stagiaire (DE-EN) in Brussels
Starting Date: August/September 2015
Responsibilities include:
Translation of articles, headlines and abstracts from German
into English
General office and administrative tasks
Profile:
English mother tongue obligatory
Very good command of German
Background (degree) in translations (German- English) and
strong interest in politics or journalism
Brussels experience useful (traineeship at EU institution or
similar)
Frequent user of internet services and familiarity with MS
Office
Proactive, open-minded, flexible and team-player
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic
environment
Highly-motivated and able to face tight deadlines
A good command of a third language is very useful
Working knowledge of Computer assisted translation
(CAT)
