The Department of Media and Communication and the Department of Computer Science are offering graduate research assistantship
for October 2013 entry to a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme.
Applicants must have a first-class or high upper second-class honours
degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline and meet
the University’s standard English language entry requirements. Research
grant will be part-funded by the Serious Organised Crime Agency and will
pay full-time University UK/EU tuition fees for four years and include
an annual maintenance grant and salary.

It is expected that applicants will have a relevant Masters degree or be able to show evidence that they will achieve this before October 2013. It is desirable that applicants will have a background in psychology or a related field.
-This post is only available to new applicants who are eligible to pay the UK/EU tuition fee – i.e., those who are permanently resident in the UK or another EU country.
-The post is for full-time study only and applicants must be able to commence their studies in October 2013.
