2013 Graduate Research Assistantship in Media, Communication and Computer Science, UK

The Department of Media and Communication and the Department of Computer Science are offering graduate research assistantship for October 2013 entry to a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. Applicants must have a first-class or high upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline and meet the University’s standard English language entry requirements. Research grant will be part-funded by the Serious Organised Crime Agency and will pay full-time University UK/EU tuition fees for four years and include an annual maintenance grant and salary.

Eligibility: -Applicants must have a first-class or high upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline and meet the University’s standard English language entry requirements. It is expected that applicants will have a relevant Masters degree or be able to show evidence that they will achieve this before October 2013. It is desirable that applicants will have a background in psychology or a related field.
-This post is only available to new applicants who are eligible to pay the UK/EU tuition fee – i.e., those who are permanently resident in the UK or another EU country.
-The post is for full-time study only and applicants must be able to commence their studies in October 2013. 
Scholarship Open for: The students of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK can apply for these scholarships.
