EU media policy intern EGTA

egta is recruiting an intern for its EU affairs team. This is a 4-6 month (between October- February) UNPAID internship for a student who benefits from a work placement agreement with his/her university. You need to be covered legally, and for insurance reasons, by your university/school’s work placement program.
egta is the trade association of television and radio sales houses that commercialise the advertising space of both private and public TV/radio channels all over Europe. Our main areas of expertise are benchmarking, lobbying and networking.
As an intern, you will assist the EU Affairs Manager in:
  •  Monitoring and communicating EU policy developments related to media. This covers issues such as TV/radio advertising legislation, online behavioural advertising and new types of advertising.
  •  Researching for and drafting EU policy briefings and positions.
  •  Supporting egta’s website maintenance and weekly press reviews.
  •  Organising and participating in meetings and events.
You should have the following experience and qualities:
  •  Preferably at the end stage of your studies in a relevant field (European affairs, Legal, Marketing, Audiovisual).
  •  A good understanding of EU Law and the European decision-making process.
  •  A high level of spoken and written English .
  •  Motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, team-worker and possessing a strong analytical ability.
