Master scholarship of The Trask Fund MRes Art Bursaries at University of the Arts London, UK

The Trask Fund MRes Art Bursaries are sponsored by the University of the Arts London to support postgraduate students on the MRes Art: Moving Image, MRes Art: Exhibition Studies and the MRes Art: Theory & Philosophy courses at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. Successful applicants will be granted £2,000 each and will be a contribution towards tuition fees for first year students only.

Description

Six bursaries have been established for the three MRes Art courses at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. The Bursaries are valued at £2,000 each and will be a contribution towards tuition fees for first year students only. The Bursaries will be offered to six students accepted on the MRes Art: Moving Image, MRes Art: Exhibition Studies and the MRes Art: Theory & Philosophy courses at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. Applications are encouraged from Home/ EU and International students who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realize their full potential and who are unable to finance themselves through their studies. The Bursaries will be awarded according to financial need and academic merit.

Eligibility
The potential candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Entering year one of studies.
  • Accepted on one of the following full-time courses: MRes Art: Exhibition, Studies, MRes Art: Moving Image or MRes Art: Theory and Philosophy at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design commencing September 2013.
  • An undergraduate student expecting to graduate with a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree (with Honors’) from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution by 31st July 2013.
  • A graduate, having already gained a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution.
  • For applicants without a bachelor’s degree able to demonstrate substantial equivalent and applicable experience.

Application Procedure

To apply this scholarship you must provide the following documents:
  • Project proposal demonstrating your critical thinking and understanding. Proposal should be between 800 and 1000 words.  Applicants may reuse or  revise the initial project proposal submitted with their course application.
  • Curriculum Vitae(CV)
  • Completed application form
