2013 Benson and Carslaw Scholarships at Emmanuel College, UK

University of Cambridge, Emmanuel College offers one or more scholarships each year to students from Commonwealth countries, with some preference for Australia and New Zealand. The basic value of the awards will be £600 a year and part-cost awards (up to £4,000 a year). 
About Scholarship: The College makes three elections annually to Research Fellowships, if candidates of sufficient merit present themselves. Tenure of the Fellowships will be for three years. Fellowships are normally awarded to postdoctoral candidates or to those nearing completion of their PhD work. 
Study: The scholarship is offered for research work in the courses available at Emmanuel College.
Course Level: These scholarships for commonwealth countries’ Students are for pursuing graduate research at Emmanuel College.

Selection Criteria: Awards are available on a competitive basis. 
Apply: Letter of application should be sent to Graduate Tutor electronically. Applications to be considered for such an award should be made to the Graduate Tutor, enclosing curriculum vitae, a statement of the proposed research, and a statement of other funding which is available or has been applied for. Applicants should also ask two referees to write direct to the Graduate Tutor on their behalf.
