ABOUT: FIVS is an international federation serving trade associations and companies in the alcohol beverage industry (wine, spirit, beers) from around the world. FIVS represents its members on issues of common interest to national governments around the world, and interfaces on behalf of members with international organisations via its role as a nongovernmental observer at these institutions (WTO, WHO, OIV, OECD, OIML, WCO, CODEX, WWTG, etc.). FIVS also organises meetings for its members and guests to encourage dialogue and the exchange of information among players in the industry. Most importantly, FIVS works on legal and policy issues of common interest to help members attain their objectives.
POSITION: Projects involve assisting the Manager with a broad range of activities, including:
Administrative Matters: Assist in the administration of day-to-day operations; track and report on activities, projects, issues and results.
Websites Management: Editing and designing content and improving websites and online tools. Create and maintain systems to record and track customer contact information, invoices and payments, and user accounts.
Communications: Creating and translating brochures and presentations (French, English and Spanish). Setting-up conference calls, writing minutes, preparing presentations (French/English).
Events Management: Assisting with the scheduling, implementation, and documentation of regular virtual meetings of groups working on strategic initiatives. Provide support to prepare upcoming meetings and conferences.
Policy Research: Monitor and report on policy issues such as sustainability, social responsibility, consumer information and trade.   
QUALIFICATIONS:

NGS Scholarship (NGSS) for International Students in Singapore, 2016

National University of Singapore is offering PhD scholarship for international students. Scholarship is available for pursuing PhD programme at National University of Singapore.
The NGS Scholarship is awarded to support talented students with an aptitude for innovative, high calibre PhD research.
The NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering (NGS) is the home of cutting-edge PhD research at the forefront of science, engineering, and related aspects of medicine at NUS.
Applicants must have at least 2nd Class Upper honours (or equivalent qualifications). Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing PhD programme at National University of Singapore.
Study Subject(s): Scholarship is awarded in all subjects available at NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences & Engineering (NGS).

Description
The Dr. Eduard Gübelin Association for research & identification of precious stones is offering research scholarship for MSc/PhD students or postdoctoral researchers. The university’s main objective is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.
The Gübelin Association for the scholarship collaborates closely with the Gübelin Gem Lab, which provides administrative support and supervision of the development of the successful project/applicant.
The successful project proposal has to be truly innovative, with demonstrable novel thinking; it must venture into new areas, test new concepts and methods, and hence contribute to the advancement of gemmological knowledge.
Eligibility
The scholarship is available to students and researchers at MSc, PhD or post-doctoral level. The minimum requirement for applicants is a:
BSc degree in earth sciences, chemistry, physics, material sciences or another hard science;
The successful recipient of the grant, i.e. the applicant, must be a person rather than an institution or company. However, applicants are encouraged to submit project proposals that involve collaboration with a university or other research institute;
Applicants may be no more than 40 years of age;
Applications are welcome from individuals of any nationality.
Scholarship
The total value of the scholarship is CHF 30,000 (around 27,400). This amount is invested each year to support the awarded project. The recipient is the applicant who submits the project; this applicant must also be the main contributor to the project and the author of the final report.
