The *Berlin Civil Society Center *supports global civil society organisations (CSOs) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work, in order for them to secure peaceful, fair and sustainable development globally and to preserve the resources of our planet for future generations.
Over the last six years the Center has established itself as a platform for the world’s leading civil society organisations (CSOs). Events such as *Vision Works – the global Chairs and CEOs meeting* and *Global Perspectives*, a meeting of the most eminent CEOs of the sector,* *have become fixed dates in the calendars of key leaders in the civil society sector. Organisations such as Amnesty International, CARE, Caritas, CBM, ChildFund Alliance, Greenpeace, Oxfam, Plan, Sightsavers, SOS Children’s Villages, Terre des Hommes, Transparency International, World Vision and WWF are supporters of the Center and regular participants at our events. The Center works predominantly with the organisations’ global and national CEOs, global Chairs and other senior leaders, as well as with leaders from the UN, the World Bank, academia and business. **
The Center’s key objectives are leadership support for ICSOs, scouting for change, improving accountability and providing a platform for global debate and joint action. To achieve this, the Center runs workshops and disseminates information and essential know-how. It offers advice and support on strategy, management and governance. As the Secretariat to the INGO Accountability Charter the Center supports a key effort to improve the sector‘s accountability. Annual projects such as the current *Disruptive Change* *Ahead *project aim to deliver new approaches to address challenges and exploit opportunities resulting from an increasingly complex world. With a small team of dedicated and ambitious professionals the Center strives for excellence. For more information, please visit us at:
