The Vice-Chancellor of De Montfort University offers international
scholarships in any subject (Except some courses which excluded from
the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship Scheme
2013). Students must be studying full-time on campus to qualify for the
scholarship. Distance Learning students are not eligible. Scholarships
are available for pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate diplomas and
master’s courses and MPhil/PhD research degrees starting in September
2013 at university.
About Scholarship: The Vice-Chancellor of De Montfort University (DMU) is delighted to offer £1,000 scholarships to overseas students for courses starting in September 2013 (or between September 2013 and June 2014 for MPhil/PhD research degrees). The scholarships will be paid towards the full academic course tuition fees (deducted at the beginning of the first, or only, year of study) of overseas-status students from any country in the world.
Study: Scholarships are provided to study any subject (Except some courses which excluded from the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship Scheme 2013).

-No cash alternatives will be offered and the scholarship cannot be transferred to any other course at DMU or to any other nominated recipient
-Once you have applied and been accepted onto a course at DMU, and if you achieve the required grades, you will automatically be awarded the scholarship.
Scholarship Open for: International students can apply for these scholarships.
Duration: Scholarships are offered for full academic course.
Value: The scholarships will be paid towards the full academic course tuition fees (deducted at the beginning of the first, or only, year of study) of overseas-status students from any country in the world.
-DMU will deduct £1,000 from the full academic course tuition fee of successful applicants at enrolment. For overseas students who are also entitled to the £500 discount for early payment of their fees in full at enrolment, a total of £1,500 will be deducted.
Apply: Once you have applied and been accepted onto a course at DMU, and if you achieve the required grades, you will automatically be awarded the scholarship. Once you have an offer letter to study at DMU (having met the entry criteria for your course), university will write to you to confirm whether or not you have qualified for the scholarship.
