The University of Sussex and other organizations are offering six Collaborative Doctoral Studentships.
The scholarships are open to the UK and Europe (Non-UK) citizens in the
field of Culture and Heritage Digital and Social Media Environment and
Health, Global Transformations Mind and Brain, Security and Social
Justice.
About Scholarship: The University will be working with organisations outside of the higher education sector (e.g. industry, charitable bodies, non-governmental organisations and public sector bodies) to create 6 collaborative scholarships. These will be advertised on the University funding database shortly after the 5th April 2013, the deadline to apply for a collaborative scholarship is 17th May 2013, with the aim of notifying applicants of the outcome by 1st June 2013.

Eligibility:
-The collaborative scholarships are aimed at supporting the development of our key interdisciplinary research areas: Culture and Heritage Digital and Social Media Environment and Health, Global Transformations Mind and Brain Security and Social Justice.
-UK and EU candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates may not be eligible for the full award if they do not meet UK residency requirements.
-Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a First or a high Upper Second Class Honours undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, and/or a Master’s degree in a related discipline to the project advertised.

Notifications: Applicants will be notified regarding the outcome of their application by 1st June 2013.
