International Master scholarship in Music Study at City University London, UK

There will be two full fee-waiver music scholarships for international master students provided by City University London. The applicants should pursue master in the field of Music, Ethnomusicology, Composing for Moving Images or Performance.
Description
The of City University London presently announce two full fee-waiver scholarships for entry to any of its MA Music pathways in September 2013. The Robert Anderson Scholarship provides a full-fee waiver at UK/EU rates and a further scholarship is offered as a result of generous funding from the Newby Trust. International students are eligible to apply for both awards and if successful will have the equivalent UK/EU fee amount deducted from the international fee.
Eligibility
In order to be considered in this music scholarship, you should meet the following criteria:

• you to have an undergraduate degree in music. However, if you have an advanced level in performance or composition you may also be considered for those pathways. They accept qualifications other than music degrees for entry onto the Ethnomusicology MA pathway.
• If English is not your first language, please provide evidence of a score of at least 6.5 in the IELTS English language test.

Application Procedure
Together with your application form you also need to provide the documents below:

• a CV indicating your studies and achievements to date
• a statement indicating why you feel you are particularly deserving of such an award and outlining the contribution you will make to the Centre for Music Studies.
