The structured Ph.D. training programme within a cutting edge research environment will start between June 15 and October 1, 2017. The initial contract is limited to three years. Applicants must have already applied for admission to a full-time PhD research programme of study at the University. Applicants intending to study a part-time PhD research programme will only be considered for the scholarship if they have the approval of the School they wish to study with.

Candidates are required to have good English Language skills with scholarship applicants normally requiring a minimum IELTS of 7.0 achieved within the past two years. Please check the Entry Requirements for your proposed programme of study for details of other acceptable English language qualifications.  The requirement for an IELTS score of 7.0 (or equivalent) may be higher than the level required for admissions purposes.

You may apply for the scholarship prior to obtaining the necessary English language test results but the results should be uploaded as soon as possible.

Masters Scholarships for International Students at Örebro University in Sweden, 2017-2018

The Orebro University is pleased to offer master scholarships for international students for the academic year 2017-2018. These scholarships cover full or partial tuition fees but do not cover living expenses.

The Orebro University Scholarship programme is aimed at top academic students from countries outside the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland, who are required to pay tuition fees for studies starting after June 2011.

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). This international educational and cultural exchange program brings future leaders to the United States to experience the U.S. educational system, enhance their knowledge, and explore U.S. culture and values. It also affords students the opportunity to share their cultures and traditions with people in the United States. Global UGRAD is administered by World Learning on behalf of ECA.

Global UGRAD will provide a select group of approximately 250 students with scholarships for one academic semester of undergraduate, non-degree study in the United States.

Eligibility

Over 18 years of age;

A citizen of a UGRAD participating country, currently residing in that country;
