The Embassy of Sweden, through the Swedish Institute (SI),
is calling for applications to the SI Study Scholarships programme targeting
students from over 100 countries on the DAC list of ODA recipients for master
studies in Sweden.
The overall aim of the programme is to contribute to the
reduction of poverty by capacity building of individuals. The aim is to
contribute to a mutual exchange of knowledge and networks for global talents by
focusing on areas in which Sweden is at the forefront of academic research.
This will enable young professionals to play an active role in society, to
build sustainable networks and to work actively for sustainable growth and
development.
The new procedure is aiming at making the application
process more time and resource efficient and to be more transparent towards
applicants in their chances of being awarded a scholarship.
The programme is divided into three different categories of
countries and approximately 300 scholarships will be granted in total 100
scholarship for each category.
Benefits:
The scholarships are intended for full-time master’s level
studies in Sweden and cover both living costs and tuition fees.
Eligibility:
Application is open to highly qualified students who are
citizens of countries on the OECD/DAC list and who will study full-time for a
master’s degree in Sweden.
