Dublin Chamber of Commerce International Department: The
chosen candidate will be fully involved in the day-to-day operational
activities of the Chamber. While also gaining experience in delivering trade
assistance to Irish SMEs with a particular focus on European markets.
Tasks
Project Assistance: Assisting in the delivery of the key
objectives of the International department’s projects, through a series of set
project activities including delivery of all documentation according to
individual project guidelines.
Customer services: Assisting answering market enquiries from
EU based Network centres & SME enquiries relating to doing business in
Europe (Enterprise Europe Network).
Marketing: researching, compiling and circulating
e-newsletters, e-shots, surveys, copywriting, proof-reading etc.
Event Management & Admin: marketing, attendee
registration, logistics etc.
Person specification
Candidate should have an interest in gaining experience in
international trade services.
Relevant BA Hons degree or relevant work experience
International experience would be an advantage.

The Enterprise Europe Network is made up of close to 600

is a consortium made up by Enterprise Ireland, Dublin Chamber of Commerce,
Waterford Chamber of Commerce, Cork Chamber of Commerce and Galway Chamber of
Commerce & Sligo Chamber of Commerce.
This network offers support and advice to businesses across
Europe by providing them with information and a menu of services to make the
most of the opportunities in the European Union. Services are specifically
designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) but are also available to all
businesses, research centres and Universities across Europe.
The Dublin Chamber also provides inward and outward trade
support programmes and works in partnership with a number of bilateral
associations, including the Ireland India Business Association and Ireland Hong
Kong Business Forum.
This is a 9 month unpaid internship – An allowance will be
paid to cover travel and subsistence.
