CNIO Laboratory Training Program for Study in Universities of Spain, Spain

If you would like to study in Universities of Spain, Spain and pursue Full Time Undergraduates Program in Life Sciences you can availCNIO Laboratory Training Program which is being offered bythe Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO).
This is a Undergraduates Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from International Students to apply for the same. Only 8 such awards are being offered and the deadline for application is 24-Apr-16.
This Scholarship will offer you travel expenses and meals at the CNIO cafeteria will be covered for summer training programme students during their stay at the centre. In addition, students without public health assistance benefits in Spain will be covered with a private health insurance provided by the CNIO for the same period of time (8 weeks).

Eligibility:
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship:-
Applicants must have passed at least 2/3 of the total credit points (courses or exams) required for a Life Sciences or Biomedicine-related undergraduate degree (in any country).
Applicants must have an excellent academic track record with a Grade Point Average (GPA) above 0.75 (with your GPA as the numerator and the highest possible GPA as the denominator).
Must have a good knowledge of English.
Must be available from June 27 to August 19 (8 weeks) to attend the training programme. If you cannot be at the CNIO during this period, you will not be eligible for the programme.

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following documents and should possess the following:
Only online applications will be considered. To apply go the link and complete the application form, choosing three laboratories in order of preference. They must attach their CV in pdf format; doc and rtf formats are also accepted. Please note that the size of this document must not exceed 1MB. Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to send the documents by e-mail to summertraining-at-cnio.es.  Applicants have to submit the following documents along with the application form:-
Two letters of recommendation
Copy of an official Transcript of Records, Academic Transcript or Certification, stating the number of credits passed
Copy of the National Identity Card or Passport
Proof of having a valid health insurance, whether public or private, during the whole summer stay. Citizens from countries issuing the European Health Card (EHC), including Spanish nationals, must present this documentation. It is highly recommended to have these documents prepared in advance.
Once all the information has been received by the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
