Over 48% of the current global population is fed thanks to the use of mineral fertilizers.

We currently seek a trainee to join our Trade Unit:

Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of the European fertilizer industry. We are the source of information on fertilizers and the sector’s voice in Europe. We deal with questions related to agriculture, environment, technology, safety, economy and trade, as well as supporting our members with statistics and other information.
Our offices are located in Brussels and we have a multi-cultural team of 13 staff members.

Your challenges:

Support and analyse trade and financial information and data to write reports on fertilizer markets;

Regular update market and intelligence reports and data;

Collaborate with other analysts on research and articles;

Participate in various working committees and/or projects.

Your key skills:

Master’s degree in economics or statistics;

Strong analytical ability and understanding of statistical issues and data management;

Advanced computer skills, especially Excel;

Strong oral and written communication skills in English;

Fluency in other European languages an advantage.

Your personality:

Team player, able to cooperate with team members;

Organized and structured mind;

Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment.

Fertilizers Europe offers:

A 6 month trainee contract as from 1 September.
