Eligibility:

Applicants
must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this
studentship:
1. Eligible candidates
will hold at least an upper second class honours BA degree and a master’s
degree. Candidates whose secondary level education has not been conducted in
the medium of English should also demonstrate evidence of appropriate English
language proficiency, normally defined as 6.5 in IELTS (with not less than
6.0 in any of the individual elements).
2. A minimum
classification of 2.1 in their first degree or equivalent
3. And preferably a
Masters degree (or Masters degree pending)
4. Applicants whose
secondary level education has not been conducted in the medium of English
should also demonstrate evidence of appropriate English language proficiency,
normally defined as:

apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following
documents and should possess the following:
The
mode of application is Online. In addition to the application for the
scholarship, the applicant must submit the following documents.

Research
proposal of between 2,000 and 3,500 words (four to seven pages) in length.
University recommend that applicants follow their guidance on writing a
research proposal. Please note university will not be able to consider their
application if applicants do not include their research proposal.

Scanned
copies of all their relevant qualification certificates and transcripts (if
their award is pending, please upload the transcript of the modules already
undertaken).
·
If
their secondary level education has not been conducted in the medium of
English, they should also demonstrate evidence of appropriate English language
proficiency, for example IELTS or TOEFL certificates.

referees and arrange for a reference letter to be provided, whether by upload
