An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications
Intern to work in World Animal Protection’s busy Brussels office for a minimum
of 4 months.
You’ll be supporting our two lobbyist professionals, helping
support our regional and international programme priorities. The main purpose
of the role is to raise the profile of World Animal Protection’s Brussels
office in online communications and social media. Since the main tasks will
involve a combination of writing, editing, analysis and research, we’re looking
for someone experienced in the field of Communication and Media Studies,
Journalism, Visual Arts and Design, or similar;
Key tasks are
Assisting in implementing communication strategies to
promote the vision, mission and strategic goals of the organization
Assist in translating policy, programmes and other research
tools into communications materials;
Assisting and supporting logistics: helping the project team
in organization of events, round tables, conferences, workshops and other
various events;
Helping prepare a diverse range of information
communications products (reporting brochures, audio-visual and events
materials);
Helping plan events, creating databases, sending
newsletters, etc. ;
Assisting in production of reports (including
presentations);
Assisting in data verification and performing specific
research;
Attending meetings with managers and drafting meeting
minutes;
Assisting in all office administration and clerical work.
The internship will be based in Brussels, starting on 1st
March until 1st June.
