Policy Trainee/Intern

Milieu Ltd is a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Brussels with a record of excellence in international and European policy and law – primarily with respect to environmental protection but also in such fields as fundamental rights, public health, consumer protection and health and safety. We are seeking to complement our busy policy team with a trainee with an EU policy background for an immediate initial six-month position to support. The stagiaire will work under the guidance of our senior staff. The work will primarily consist of policy research and analysis both for projects and proposals, though some administrative tasks may be involved from time to time (project management, formatting and binding reports, etc).

Requirements:

Master’s degree or higher in environmental protection/policy, economics, social sciences or other relevant discipline;

Excellent spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of other languages will be an asset;

Exposure to European public policy analysis, with strong capacities for research and data collection;

You should be energetic, enthusiastic and resourceful with a drive to exceed expectations;

You should be computer literate and particularly confident with Microsoft Word.

Milieu’s working language is English. We are aiming to fill this position during September 2015.
