PA/PR intern

The joint Ciett/Eurociett secretariat in Brussels is looking for a PA/PR intern to assist in a range of activities. Ciett and Eurociett represent the employment & recruitment industry globally and in Europe, which includes HR services such as agency work, permanent recruitment/search & selection, RPO and more. The joint secretariat has a staff of five: a managing director, three advisors and an assistant. We are looking for someone interested in broadening their experience both in PR and in international public affairs.
Profile:
Young graduate or with some first experience with a demonstrable background in international public affairs (study, internship, volunteer work etc.). Experience within an international employer federation is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organisational skills and attention to detail
Interested in employment, human resources and social policies
Open minded and team-player
Excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing) is a pre-requisite. 
Activities
The work will mostly focus on European affairs, but may also include activities with a global outlook. Some of the activities that you could work on include:
Social media monitoring/management – engaging with stakeholders and spreading our messages among a growing audience;
Compose & distribute bi-weekly newsletter and monthly economic update;
Organisation of several upcoming events/meetings with high-level participants;
Support in organisation of the annual Ciett conference;
Update and maintenance of Ciett & Eurociett websites and intranet including news articles;
Preparation of board meetings and committee meetings with members.

The internship can start as soon as possible, for a period of at least six months. Compensation is foreseen.
